How do I add up what grading a few cards could make?

The Optimizer · 1:44 · Updated Oct 26, 2026

Tick the cards in the Optimizer and it adds up what they cost, what grading costs, and two totals: Best Case if every card comes back a PSA 10, and Worst Case if they all come back a PSA 9. Pick one grading level for the batch, then send the cards to your queue.

Price the cards in your hand

0:02Say you're at a card show with three cards in your hand. Tick them here, and the Optimizer adds up what grading them could get you.

0:11The list comes from your Watchlist, and every number uses your own costs, the ones you set in My costs.

Best Case and Worst Case

0:20Up top is what the cards cost, what grading costs, and your total all-in. Then the two I watch. Best Case is what you make if every card comes back a ten. Worst Case is what you make or lose if they all come back nines.

0:39These use current sold prices. What you really get back depends on the grades and the market when you sell.

What you paid and one level

0:48Paid less than the market price? Type what you paid in the Raw box, and the totals follow.

0:55Use Ship all at to pick one grading level for the whole batch. Change it, and every fee and total follows.

Compare tiers and add a card

1:05Not sure which level? Compare tiers lays them side by side, with the best and worst case for each.

1:13If you're holding a card that's not on your list, Add a card searches the whole library and can put it on your Watchlist too.

Send them to your queue

1:22When it looks right, send them to your queue. They show up in Submissions as drafts, and the next video picks up from there.
